How to Get a Better Aluminium & Glass Quotation

Send clear photos, measurements, location and a short description to help Gulf Light prepare a faster and more accurate aluminium or glass quotation.

How to Get a Better Aluminium & Glass Quotation

A faster and more accurate aluminium or glass quotation starts with clear information. When our team can understand the opening, dimensions, location and exact requirement from the beginning, there is usually less back-and-forth before pricing.

1. Send One Clear Full Photo

Start with a full photo showing the complete door, window, glass opening or work area. Avoid sending only a very close or cropped image because the surrounding frame and installation conditions can be important.

2. Add Close-Up Photos of Important Details

Send close-up photos of damaged rollers, handles, locks, hinges, cracked glass, frame damage, gaps or any other area related to the problem. Clear detail photos help explain what needs inspection, repair or replacement.

3. Provide Approximate Width and Height

Approximate measurements are very useful for an initial quotation. Measure the width and height of the relevant opening or existing unit and clearly state the unit you used. Final site measurements may still be required before fabrication or installation.

4. Tell Us Your Location

Include your property location or area in Abu Dhabi. Location helps our team understand service coverage, site access and whether a visit may be required.

5. Explain What You Need

Tell us whether the enquiry is for a new installation, repair or replacement. A short description such as “sliding door is heavy,” “glass is cracked,” “handle is loose,” or “need a new office partition” makes the request much clearer.

Other Details That Can Improve the Quotation

When relevant, include the preferred aluminium colour, glass type, approximate quantity, whether removal of an existing system is required, and whether installation should be included. For repair problems, a short video can also be very helpful.

What Commonly Delays Pricing

Blurry photos, heavily cropped images, missing measurements, unclear location and no description of the required work can make accurate pricing difficult. Better information helps our team understand the job faster and prepare a more useful quotation.

WhatsApp Quotation Checklist

Before sending your enquiry, check that you have included: one full photo, useful close-ups, approximate width and height, your location, and a short description of the work. Add colour, glass type, quantity or a short problem video when relevant.
